ADELAIDE FRINGE OPENING NIGHT PARADE    

Adelaide Fringe celebrates 50 years and everyone' s welcome to join the party! The streets of Adelaide turn into a mass celebration, marking the beginning of the Fringe with artists and community participants presenting the magic and mayhem that embodies the spirit of Fringe 2010. ADELAIDE STREET THEATRE FESTIVAL    

Streets of Adelaide come to life as we literally 'stop traffic' with Street Theatre taking over the East End and Rundle Mall! World-class jugglers, strong woman, contortionists, roving artists and incredible acrobats will impress you with phenomenal skills and have you in stitches with their clever comedy and sharp wit.


AFRICA DOWN UNDER    

It's an African party! Jive in the Jungle with the superstars of OzAfrican dance-hall music The Nile Band and Afro-Reggae Band. Sideplitting standup comedy from Mister Charles Onzi, hipbusting dances from The Dancehall Girls... Delicious African food. More fun than you can shake an antelope at...it's a journey through Africa!


AMOCOCO    

Amococo is an inflatable 'luminarium' of labyrinthine tunnels, soaring domes and cavernous atriums. It's a walk-through sculpture inspired by the beauty of natural geometry, and a most unusual chill-out zone. Come in, recline, and lose yourself in primary-coloured bliss. Suitable all ages. ASHBOURNE CAMPUS FAMILY FUN DAY    

After the success from last year, it's back. A day of family fun in Ashbourne. Experience theatre games, arts and craft, film, music, buskers, spoken word and much much more, all set in the quaint Ashbourne Campus. Entry gold coin donation.


AUSTRALIA COUNCIL FOR THE ARTS INFO SESSION: FERTILISER FOR BUDDING ARTISTS AND MORE    

Come along and find out about ArtStart - a new grant that's all about helping budding artists go from studying their art to earning an income from it. Take the opportunity to meet Australia Council staff and find out some of the other ways we support emerging artists.


AUSTRALIAN SPEED BODYPAINTING COMPETITION & SHOW    

World Speed Body Painting Competition first time ever culminating into a Grand Final on the third evening. Artists entering will be challenged to produce a work of art in a short space of time. The audience will see a spectacular performance each night by the artists and Tim Gratton.


BANKSA FREE CONCERT SERIES
